The Royal Oak is an independent dining pub run by a husband and wife team. Our continued success relies on reservations being honoured or sufficient notice being given of any changes. There is a £25 deposit per diner taken from your card upon booking this will be used as a prepayment against your final bill.
If you need to cancel/rearrange your reservation you are welcome to do this up to 72 hours prior to your arrival with us. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. In the event of a cancellation within 72 hours of the arrival date we will keep the whole payment as a cancellation charge. However, if we are able to resell the table we will refund the payment (minus a £10 administration charge) so please do give us as much notice as possible of any changes.
Please note all cancellations must be made via email only, quoting both the date of your reservation as well as your booking reference.
If you require a taxi, we highly recommend pre-booking incoming as well as out-going journeys well in advance as we are in a rural area and there are no taxi companies based in Whatcote. We do not recommend using Uber as it is highly unlikely that you will be able to book a return journey.
