Charlie our apprentice has been picked up by Stratford College as part of their campaign to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week that runs from the 6th to the 12th of February.
Charlie has been part of our team for three years joining us as a part time Kitchen Porter at weekends, whilst he was doing his GCSEs. He actually applied a year earlier, but had to wait for another birthday before joining us as he was too young.
Everyone in the kitchen, part- or full-time help with plating dishes and deliver dishes to the dining room. Charlie's interest grew and he quickly became an important part of the team both back and front of house who has proved very popular with our guests.
He's about to complete his Commis Chef qualification and move onto his Chef de Partie qualification and we are really looking forward to seeing his development within our team.
